In the game, Grave is an extremely silent person, even more than when he was human. He also wears a pair of black gloves instead of a white gloves and the glasses makes a return from the previous two games. He also wore a belt, and the big, white saddler is replaced with a normal-yet-taller-than-average black saddler to hold Grave's Cerberus pistols. Underneath the jacket, he wears a plain, white long-sleeved shirt and completed with a dark pants and a pair of shoes. All of the jackets attachments has a red-lining or, inverted purple lining and red insides. The collar is replaced with a lapel collar, however, the Jacket remains opened. He also wears a pair of rectangle-framed glasses, and the right side of the frame covers his left eye, which in-said glasses has a similar lining like Grave's Cerberus.ĭespite the simplified design in Overdose, it's much more over-exaggerated design from the original Gungrave returns however, not without changes the dark purple jacket returns but with a much more futuristic-like design, with an added shoulder pads and a metal band. However, one of the more iconic traits of Grave other than his jacket are his long, dark purple cowboy hat with a red band and a logo. He also has a belt that's covered by a bandoleer that's literally placed on Grave's waist. His outfit is completed with a dark-green dress pants and a very long dark blue boots that's attached to its kneepads, which are again attached with a big white saddlebags, similar to the ones used by cowboys to hold their weapons. In the original Gungrave game, Grave's attire consists of a wardrobe similar to that of cowboys, which includes a noticeably short dark purple jacket with a cape at the back that resembles a tuxedos split-cape and a unique sleeve that resembles a little bit like a rocket's wings and a wide and tall collar with red linings and white buttons, with the Jacket's sleeves being covered by chains on both arms and underneath it is a plain white long-sleeved shirt and a pair of glooves. He's also hunched-back and has a long face, along with having a scar placed on his right eye caused by Harry. In G.O.R.E however, he gains a much more sharper features and his skin is also notably fair, instead of it being tanned. Despite this, he's a broad-shouldered adult-man with an amber eyes, and a very long dark hair that sometimes, covers his eye either left or right. However, he noticeably has a young face and his limbs are unnaturally longer than even his torso. In Gungrave and Gungrave Overdose, Grave is depicted as a tall and bulking man with a tan skin. Ĭreated by manga artist Yasuhiro Nightow and despite being silent for most of the games, Grave is voiced by Tomokazu Seki in all media in Japanese, and Kirk Thornton in the English dubs. Grave then begins his quest of revenge against those in the organization who betrayed him and those closest to him. Soon after, he took in and protects Mika Asagi, a young girl who is his former boss's daughter, and has been put on a manhunt by Harry. T despite his request to allow him to rest in peace. It wasn't until he was betrayed and killed by his then-best friend Harry who usurped Big Daddy's position in Millenion as boss and later using science, Grave was brought back to life by Dr. He was a formerly a trusted member and hitman of Millenion, later promoted to member of the Family in the organization. Alive Beyond The Grave, or simply Grave ( ビヨンド・ザ・グレイヴ,, Biyondo Za Gureivu ?), nicknamed as the "Gunslinger of Resurrection" and also, the "Grim Reaper", is a legendary Deadman gunslinger, the reincarnation of Brandon Heat, and the main protagonist and anti-hero of the Gungrave series.
